Privacy Policy

AddressWatch LLC (“AddressWatch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides building-scoped property intelligence through our website, customer portal, email reports, and iPhone application. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to our customers and users.
AddressWatch currently focuses on supported New York City building-record sources. Our services organize public property information and provide monitoring, reporting, notifications, and AI-assisted context. Official public-record sources remain authoritative.
Account information
When an account is created, we may collect an email address, authentication information, internal account identifiers, and related account-security metadata. Authentication credentials are processed through our authentication provider and are not available to AddressWatch as readable plaintext passwords.
Monitoring and service information
We collect information necessary to provide the service, including selected or monitored buildings, building identifiers, monitoring status, subscription or entitlement status, report settings, recipient information where applicable, and activity associated with use of the AddressWatch service.
Building records displayed or analyzed by AddressWatch generally originate from supported public sources. Public building records are not transformed into private records merely because they are organized within an AddressWatch account.
Notification information
If a user enables iPhone notifications, we collect the notification-delivery token provided through our notification infrastructure, the associated AddressWatch account identifier, device platform, notification enrollment status, and related activation or deactivation timestamps. We use this information only to operate and secure AddressWatch notifications.
AddressWatch does not receive or store a user’s Face ID biometric template. Any device-level biometric or passcode protection is controlled by Apple and the user’s device.
Billing information
Purchases and subscription management occur outside the iPhone application through our website and payment provider. AddressWatch may receive limited transaction and entitlement information, such as subscription status, customer identifier, and payment status. AddressWatch does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
Communications
We collect information users provide when contacting us for support, requesting account assistance, responding to reports, or otherwise communicating with AddressWatch.
Technical and security information
Our service providers may process IP addresses, request timestamps, device or browser characteristics, application version, server logs, error information, and similar technical data needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the service. AddressWatch does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking technologies in the iPhone application.
We use information to:
Authenticate users and protect accounts.
Provide monitored-property portfolios, building intelligence, reports, and supporting evidence.
Deliver requested email reports and iPhone notifications.
Associate information with the correct physical building and authorized customer account.
Maintain subscriptions, entitlements, and customer-service records.
Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, secure the service, and maintain reliability.
Respond to support requests and account or data-deletion requests.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Improve AddressWatch’s presentation, usability, and supported functionality.
AddressWatch uses supported public building records as factual inputs. We may use service providers, including artificial-intelligence providers, to help organize, summarize, or explain verified building-record information.
AI-assisted features do not determine whether an official record exists and should not be treated as legal, engineering, safety, habitability, or compliance advice. We do not intentionally send account passwords or full payment-card information to AI providers.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising, and the AddressWatch iPhone application does not track users across other companies’ applications or websites.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate AddressWatch, including providers supporting:
Cloud hosting and application delivery.
Database, authentication, and account security.
iPhone builds, application distribution, and notification delivery.
Transactional email delivery.
Website payment and subscription processing.
AI-assisted report organization and interpretation.
Error diagnosis, security, and infrastructure operations.
These providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for AddressWatch and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the public, enforce our rights, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets.
Users may:
Decline or disable iPhone notifications through iOS Settings.
Contact us to correct account information.
Unsubscribe from nonessential communications where an unsubscribe option is provided.
Request account and personal-data deletion by emailing support@addresswatch.com from the email address associated with the account and using the subject “Account Deletion Request.”
Disabling notifications does not delete an AddressWatch account or end a separately maintained monitoring subscription.
To request deletion, email support@addresswatch.com from the account email address with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity and authority over the account.
After verification, we will delete or deidentify personal information associated with the account when reasonably possible, subject to information we must retain for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, transaction-record, dispute-resolution, or legal-compliance purposes. Deleting an account may permanently remove access to monitored properties, reports, notification enrollment, and related account information.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and why it is maintained.
Public building records may remain available through their originating public sources regardless of an AddressWatch account-deletion request.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should contact us if they believe their account or device has been compromised.
AddressWatch is a business and property-information service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to AddressWatch, contact us so we can review and address the request.
AddressWatch may link to public agencies and other third-party services. Their privacy practices, content, availability, and records are controlled by those third parties and are not governed by this Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy as AddressWatch evolves or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change. We will update the effective date on this page when material changes are published.
